Fiscal Responsibility Starts at Home
Every family in Southwest Missouri knows what it means to balance a budget. Government should be no different. Here's why I believe disciplined spending and low taxes are the foundation of a healthy community.
When my wife and I were building our business in Carl Junction, we learned quickly that you can't spend money you don't have. You plan, you prioritize, and you make sure every dollar is working hard. That's not a political philosophy — it's just common sense.
Yet too often, government operates by a different set of rules. Budgets grow year after year, programs multiply, and the bill gets passed down to the next generation. Missouri families deserve better than that.
Fiscal responsibility isn't about cutting services people depend on. It's about making sure every tax dollar is spent with the same care and accountability that hardworking Missourians apply to their own household budgets. That's the standard I hold myself to, and the standard I'll bring to public service.
